Using vintage fabrics, antique feed sacks, eyelet and trim makes this a very versatile dress with endless options. Sew a solid dress and add embroidery or appliques. If you do not add a collar you can make this dress reversible. 13 Design your own dress with this pattern. Pin tuck the dress front before cutting the pattern. Or add a simple lace or fabric placket down the front in contrasting fabric or the same fabric and add buttons. Shorten the dress and make a tunic blouse - or make the dress longer by adding a ruffle or lace. Add your own accessories - cardigan, hat, shoes and socks - and you have a complete ensemble. Note: Never leave dark colors on a resin doll - especially red or black - this includes the thread sewn with the garment. Professional & Technical Advice, Courtesy of Chris Saunders 28 Summer 2018
