Runa came dressed in a pink silk ball gown. We were given an elegant night gown to finish off the story. A special close to the third day. Sunday Brunch was the official end to "Once Upon a Time." The theme was "Happily Ever After High," based on a series of dolls that represented the children of fairy tale characters. Chairman Reba Hood spoke about reaching out and supporting young girls in our communities. Then she gave out dolls and said we should take them and use them as an opportunity to introduce the wonderful world of fairytales and collecting to a child! The ongoing idea of support and sharing brought "Once Upon a Time" to a "Happily Ever After Ending." UFDC First Vice-President Dr. Barbara Stone (right) shares a smile with LaQuinda Gist (left).
