She wears the same type of bridal dress in red brocade fabric as the Door of Hope bride. 114 SPRING 2020 The 7-inch pair of Jordanian bride and groom souvenir dolls were produced during the 1920s when tourist travel was increasing and tourists were eager to bring home souvenirs of their trips. The dolls were made in Germany with bisque heads, stationary glass eyes and rather crude composition bodies. The grooms are harder to find than the brides.
