Case Report
lary and mandibular incisors were retroclined,
although the mandibular incisors were significantly protruded. There was 2 mm of anterior
open bite, measured on the lateral incisors, and
0.5 mm of negative overjet. Significant crowding
on both arches was noted.
The initial radiographs revealed that the patient
had retained maxillary primary lateral incisors
with root resorption and congenitally missing
permanent maxillary lateral incisors.
