in a private practice after graduation, gaining
expertise alongside an experienced orthodontist.
I am very excited to start a new chapter of my life
after graduation and am looking forward to continuing the lifelong learning process of being an
orthodontist.

Are you involved in any activities with PCSO/AAO?
I am currently the USC representative of the New
and Younger Members Committee. It has been a
great opportunity to meet and collaborate with
other residents and new orthodontists. I have
also attended PCSO conferences as a resident,
and have enjoyed meeting other residents and
orthodontists involved in organized dentistry. In
the future, I hope to become more involved with
PCSO, especially with the New and Younger
Members Committee.
What benefits do you enjoy from PCSO?
The New and Younger Members Committee is a
great resource for residents and new orthodontists. Through the online resources and meetings
offered by this committee, I have more knowl-

edge about orthodontics and what life after residency is like. I also enjoy reading the PCSO Bulletin because it keeps me up-to-date with issues
influencing organized dentistry and orthodontics, while also offering tips for treating patients
and operating a private practice successfully.
Tell us about your family and personal interests.
I am a Southern California native and love living
here, which is evidenced by the universities I have
attended. In 2014, I graduated from dental school
at USC. Prior to that, I received my undergraduate
degree in Biology, with minors in Business
Administration and Chemistry, from the University of San Diego. In August 2015, I married my
high school sweetheart. We now live in South
Orange County and enjoy any and all outdoor
activities, including hiking, mountain biking, and
taking our new puppy, Oakley, to the beach. I also
enjoy cheering on the Anaheim Ducks and Oakland Raiders. We are blessed that both of our
families live nearby and we are able to spend
time with them often- they have been my support system throughout college, dental school,
and now residency.
