Presentation Summary Benefits of the Outcome Simulator The patient is able to see the possible outcome. Increases treatment case acceptance by up to 30%. Plants the seed for compliancy. Uses cutting-edge technology. Is subject to constant improvements. The software is designed to make it easy to share simulations with patients, thereby increasing case acceptance. Patients can share with friends and relatives from their phone and/or computer, increasing the word-of-mouth referrals to your practice. Your office can also use this tool to share simulations with a patient's general dentist or oral surgeon for restorations or implants. The sharing tool is HIPAA-compliant. Progress Assessment Tool The primary benefit of the Progress Assessment tool is the ability to compare new scans with a specific stage in ClinCheck® to assess treatment progress. This tool is a great visual for patients, staff, and interdisciplinary referrals. It can be accessed from patient lists or orders. Check "Run Progress Assessment" and highlight the patient name you would like to access. The progress is color-coded. It will be clear if the patient is not wearing their aligners and the teeth are moving back. Teeth that are moving back will appear purple on the screen, giving you proof of compliance to show to the patient and document in the chart. For this reason, it is important to scan each patient as often as possible. The more practice the staff has in scanning, the more efficient they will become. Don't let one team member get pigeonholed into the role of scanning because they are "the best" at it. This isn't doing the rest of your team any favors. Train each of the team members to scan, and encourage those who struggle to practice and get better. The goal is for each team member to be the iTero champion in your office.
