Resident Research Review

Under the leadership of many of the aforementioned faculty, all orthodontic residents have
contributed to the research being conducted at
UBC. It is a graduation requirement of the dual
MSc / diploma in orthodontics that residents
complete original research and successfully
defend a thesis. There is strong encouragement
for residents to publish their research in highimpact peer-reviewed journals, and many do so
before or following completion of their residencies.


Certainly this is an area that deserves greater
investigation and could and should easily be in
the domain of orthodontics. 
