Angle Pearls If you have a large lumen chain, please use that. #6: This tooth is between #7 and #8, and needs initial movement toward the palate. Please place the bonding pad on the line angle on the palatal side and near the tip of the crown. The chain should exit the tissue directly behind the tooth and about 5mm into the palate. You can ligate the chain to the palatal tissue. #11: The force vector will be from the canine toward the mesial-buccal line angle of #12. Please bond on the distal surface at the edge of the incisal ridge. The chain should exit just mesial to the mesial-buccal line angle of #12. Ligate the chain to #12. Please see the attachments for the picture of the appliance and the diagram. #9: The force vector will be directly occlusal. Please bond the eyelet on the lingual of the tooth at the incisal edge, and the chain can exit at the apex of the alveolus. 60 PCSO Bulletin Spring 2018
