SOA Watch Plans Second Convergence
on Arizona Border
¡Aparta la Fecha! ¡Encuentro en Nogales
del 10 al 12 de noviembre!

eguimos conmovidos y honrados por la energía y el poder
de quienes asistieron al primer Encuentro en la Frontera
organizado por SOA Watch. Después de 26 años de historia
en las puertas de Ft. Benning, SOA Watch celebró su primer
Encuentro en Tucson y en ambos Nogales, con el fin de responder al llamado actual de solidaridad con América Latina.
Este 10 al 12 de noviembre, únete al movimiento
en ambos Nogales para celebrar nuestro segundo
Encuentro binacional en la frontera militarizada de
Estados Unidos y México. En conjunto podremos
construir el poder popular necesario para desafiaac.
Al llamar la atención sobre la militarización de la frontera
y de América Latina, también exigimos un fin al terrorismo
de Estado y a la violencia en contra de nuestras comunidades
dentro de los Estados Unidos. Asimismo, la movilización en la
frontera de Nogales es una manera más de luchar por el cierre
de la Escuela de las Américas/WHINSEC y de demandar el
fin a la intervención estadounidense en América Latina.
¡Únete! Organiza a tu comunidad para ser parte de
activistas de derechos humanos, sobrevivientes, trabajadores
sindicales, veteranos, organizadores comunitarios, migrantes,
comunidades de fé, estudiantes y educadores de las Américas.

held its first Convergence in Tucson and
ambos Nogales last year in order to respond

to the present-day call to solidarity with Latin America.
This November 10-12, join us in ambos nogales
for our second bi-national convergence at the militarized US/Mexico border, to build the grassroots power necessary to challenge the racist status quo and
push back against US intervention in Latin America.
As we call attention to the militarization of the border and
Latin America, we also call for an end to state-sponsored terrorism and violence against our communities inside the United
States. Similarly, the mobilization at the border in Nogales
is one more way to fight for the closure of the School of the
Americas (now known as the Western Hemisphere Institute
for Security Cooperation, or WHINSEC) and put an end to
US intervention in Latin America.
So join us! Organize your community to join human rights
activists, torture survivors, union workers, veterans, community
organizers, migrants, faith communities, students and educators from across the Americas.
