Clothing Each Other with Hope

Staff note: Ximena Ulloa montemayor was the 2017 BPFNA ~ Bautistas
por la Paz Summer Conference Director. She brought together leaders and
participants from 12 countries to organize worship, teach Bible study,
preach, conduct workshops, work with youth and children, and much
more. She brought together more than 200 people, about half of whom
spoke Spanish and half of whom spoke english, for an amazing week
of discovery and solidarity. And she managed an immensely complicated,
multicultural logistical challenge with an incredible amount of grace.
Below is her letter to the board of directors after the conference was over.

ear friends, brothers and sisters of the road,
I really want to thank each and every one of you for all
your support leading up to, during and after the 2017 BPFNA ~
Bautistas por la Paz Summer Conference (aka "Peace Camp").
It would not have been possible to organize this camp without
your help.
Every word offered, every prayer, every message of support, every hug, every sign of affection, every help during
the camp (from the very least to the greatest things), were the
vitamins that enabled me to have strength every morning to
continue, to follow in this work, despite extreme exhaustion.

able to get through the week. Without that "gasoline," I would
not have been able to fill my tank-heart, and I would not have
had enough strength.
that is why I want to thank everyone for your great
support, those who were here during the camp, but also those
who could not come, because I know we were present in your
thoughts and prayers, and we could feel it from a distance.
