2010, and includes several senior executives from that
company . Since its formation, Jupiter Avionics' mission has

the fifth straight year the company participated in the
New Product Introductions portion of an AEA Convention .
Before 2016, the company had announced a total of 24
new products . The company's 2016 appearance added 14
more to the list . Among them are:
* The JA97-001 audio controller with RX volume controls .
The device serves up to seven users, managing as
many as six transceivers and four receivers . The JA97001 includes a built-in adapter for non-aircraft radios,
duplex mode transmission for cellphone operation and
transmit capability for two flight crew members and two
passengers .
* The JA95-N22/N32 flight and medical crew audio controllers . This product also serves as many as seven
users per panel . The JA95-x22 includes an intercom
system tie-line isolate function and configurable call alert
messaging . The JA95-x32 series, meanwhile, builds in a
patient audio on/off function and a call switch .
* Four new additions to the company's JA37 line
of aural message generators, each with
varying features to include different input
message count and message length, and
voltage or sensor triggering .

Kuerzi Avionics
In business since 1978, Switzerland-based Kuerzi Avionics conducts engineering on all aircraft types, including
hardware and software (DO-178) development, laboratory
and flight testing, and in-house component production. The
company is an EASA-approved design, production and
maintenance organization recognized by various aviation
authorities worldwide .
In addition to all that, Kuerzi Avionics specializes in design, production, installation, maintenance, repair and certification of all types of avionics and electrical systems on
rotor- and fixed-wing aircraft of any size. Robert Zehnder,
managing the company's customer service and business
development, introduced Kuerzi's latest multi-mission
systems .
According to Zehnder, advantages of its multi-mission
system for rotor- and fixed-wing aircraft include customdesigned systems according to operator needs . The Kuerzi
MMS features a control and communication system implementing an intelligent bus-based human-machine interface,
which the company said results in quick data access for
information exchange between the aircraft and ground stations, bridging the gap between hardware, software and a
successful mission .
Another new product from Kuerzi is a 1,000-watt AC-DC
converter, with an all-solid-state control system and featuring
variable frequencies . The company also offers a line of electrical components performing functions supporting the MMS,
including AC and DC power distribution outlets, dimmable
LED lighting and lighting controllers, and oxygen system configuration and monitoring. Wireless communication to a remote diagnostic and support system is another feature of the
MMS, along with Bluetooth connectivity aboard the aircraft .
And for installers, Kuerzi has another new product, its
liquid isolator . The quick-drying liquid functions as heatshrink tubing for oddly shaped or oversize electrical
connections .
