speed warnings and voice annunciations. A roll envelope
exceedance warning also is provided, as is automatic
pitch trim, control wheel steering and GPS steering
mode. The system can be integrated with approved
legacy analog and digital avionics systems.
New STCs for the 3100 include Cessna 210K through
R models, all models of the Beechcraft Bonanza 35 and
36 series, and all models of the Cessna 182 series. The
company expects additional STCs for Piper's PA-32(R)

series, including the Cherokee Six, Lance and Saratoga,
and the PA-46 models. Additional Cessna STCs will include the Model 177 Cardinal and the P210 Pressurized
Centurion. Twin Cessnas to be STC'd for the 3100 include the 310, 320, 335, 340 and 340A, plus the Cessna
414, 421 and 425 models.

HeliTrak
HeliTrak has its roots in the underground horizontal
directional drilling industry, but its two co-founders are pilots, so they built on their strong engineering, technology
and operations capability and expanded into designing
and manufacturing products to improve safety and efficiency. The company's first product was a collective pulldown device for the Robinson R22 and R44 helicopters.
HeliTrak's newest offering will be a full-featured autopilot
exclusively for the R44, which is expected to receive certification in early 2019.
HeliTrak says its forthcoming autopilot will be simple,
but built with high-integrity architecture and design assurance throughout. It will feature a fail-functional triplex
control channel architecture with dual motor actuation
that meets basic pilot control tasks without adding complexity. The basic unit consists of three system components: the autopilot main processor and actuators, handon-cyclic mode selector and a panel- or stack-mounted
indication and alert panel. It will be a fully self-contained
system, with no external connections or integration required for installation.
The R44 autopilot will include several features specific
to rotorcraft, including cyclic pitch/roll attitude control and
attitude hold stabilization as well as basic control modes

like heading hold and syncing to the current heading
on engagement. Heading functions will include HDG
jog - left/right 3 degrees per beep - and HDG slew left/
right, up to bank limit of ½ standard rate. Altitude hold
also is provided, which syncs to the current altitude when
engaged. Like heading mode, climb descend ALT jog
of 25 feet per beep and ALT slew (climb/descend until
released) will be available. Similar capabilities will be
included for airspeed management.

Honeywell Aerospace
GoDirect Cabin Connectivity is Honeywell's solution
for cabin communications, offering a comprehensive
suite of satellite-based communications services that
includes more than a dozen GoDirect apps and services,
real-time TV, TV on demand, high-speed broadband internet, video conferencing, email and Voice over Internet
Protocol capabilities. The various apps and services allow operators to deploy the tools needed to manage their
connectivity with real-time data and information. New for
2018 is the GoDirect Router.
Honeywell says its GoDirect Router "represents that
biggest advancement in aircraft router technology in
years." The GoDirect Router is 65 percent smaller, 45
percent lighter and uses 35 percent less power than others, making it ideal for aircraft where space and weight
are at a premium, according to the company.
Multiple GoDirect Routers can be installed in a distributed architecture, providing optimum coverage throughout the cabin and flight deck, along with enhanced
redundancy. The router maximizes available onboard
Wi-Fi bandwidth and enables a reliable, in-flight wireless
connection to any network, providing fast and reliable
connectivity.
