The BTR -30 0 allows pairing of a
personal electronic device with the aircraft's audio system and delivers a line-level signal. The
unit comes with smart auto connection and pairing settings, and stores in its memory devices previously paired
to the system, then reconnects them automatically. A
signal-mixing feature allows concurrent input from a wired
device into the aircraft's audio system. U p to 1 0 BTR -30 0
receivers may be added.
M eanwhile, the BTT-4 0 0 Bluetooth audio transmitter allows a wireless connection with compatible headphones.
An AL TO C SS switch panel may be used for pairing and
audio selection of the transmitter, reducing the number of
buttons needed for headphone operation.
Both the BTR -30 0 and the BTT-4 0 0 include A2DP -
advanced audio distribution profile, a Bluetooth feature
defining how high- uality stereo audio can be streamed
from one device to another - plus the SBC , AP T-X , and
AAC codecs. L ow latency ( < 4 0 ms) and a sensitive integrated antenna helps ensure video-audio synchronization
while provisions for optional external pairing status lights
and switches are included. Both units are DO -1 6 0 G ualified, operate on 2
DC and are packaged in a small
enclosure for exible mounting. A T Aviation expected
FAA TSO approval in April.

For 20 1 9 , Applied Avionics has
developed two new modules - a
time delay and a current sensor
plus a series of preconfigured
ADS-B O ut annunciators. The TD1
time delay component is used to
monitor input change and create
delay, with selectable output including active low or open
( high impedance) . Delay timing can range from 1 25 ms to
four hours. The current sensor ( C S1 ) enables monitoring
of low-side DC current to trigger a discrete output, also
selectable as active low or open ( high impedance) . The
device monitors over and undercurrent levels less than 1
amp. Both the TD and the CS are configurable inside a
V IV ISU N pushbutton switch or N E X SY S module.
The company's new ADS-B O ut annunciators are available in three configurations for multiple transponders,
including AC SS, G armin and C ollins Aerospace products.
Already, the new annunciators are defined in multiple customer STC s. The annunciators are designed to accommodate optional N E X SY S modules, as the application may
demand. Applied Avionics says other custom configurations can be shipped in as few as five business days.
