next PCB design. Now you can develop a custom PCB
without worrying about component reliability and lengthy
certification. NEXYS THDs will be the components you're
least concerned about for your next PCB design. "

Astronautics
Headquartered in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, Astronautics
Corporation of America designs, develops, and
manufactures secure avionics equipment and systems for
the commercial and military aerospace industry. Key product
areas include electronic primary flight and engine displays,
connected aircraft and cyber solutions, electronic flight bags
and certified servers for airborne applications. One of the
company's major products, its AeroSync wireless airborne
communication system, is the standard-fit connectivity
solution for Airbus Helicopters' new-production H125 and
H130 helicopters.
Josh Berrian, product strategy manager for the company,
AeroSync Mission
briefed AEA Convention attendees on AeroSync. " We
created a device with
ample and robust I/O,
to be able to connect to
avionics, " he said. " We
have multiple ARINC
429 channels; we have
Ethernet; we have
CANBUS; we have serial
connectivity; and basically
what we do is we act as a
data aggregator, so we're
able to capture usage
data, flight data, engine
data, aggregate that and
make that available post-flight, automatically and wirelessly,
to power applications. "
Astronautics' AeroSync family of products provide
high-speed flight, mission and maintenance data at an
affordable price. Features include broadband connectivity,
high-performance wireless access to operational and
maintenance data, secure wireless internet and flight data
management compliance, plus storage and retrieval of
hundreds of hours of operational data and secure protection
of critical avionics from non-authorized access. Applications
include special missions and executive/VIP transport.
AeroSync comes in two basic flavors. AeroSync Mission
is a small, TSO-approved, all-in-one, lightweight server
built for data retrieval and offboarding. It provides secure
communication that meet FAA/EASA security standards.
The AeroSync MAX, meanwhile, is a four-component
solution - an airborne communication server (AFS6400),
wireless connectivity module (AFS6460), remote media
device (AFS6480) and ground-server software (GSS6000) -
creating what Astronautics said is a complete air-to-ground,
secure, data transmission system.

Avidyne
" We've all had a challenging couple of years with COVID
and inflation and supply chain issues, " said Avidyne Director
of Marketing Tom Harper. " We want you to know that Avidyne
continues to make availability our No. 1 priority, so that we
can have product on-hand and ready to ship, which will allow
you to keep your shops running and fulfilling the needs of our
mutual end-customers. I'm thankful that, together, we have
been able to persevere, and I'm optimistic for a productive
and profitable 2022 and beyond, for Avidyne and for you, our
valued dealers. "
For 2022, Avidyne reminded avionics shops that it is
the authorized reseller of the L3 Lynx NGT-9000 series of
premium ADS-B In and Out transponders, in both paneland
remote-mounted configurations, and with options for
diversity, plus TAS/TCAS1 and TAWS integration. Avidyne
said it has
inventory and
is able to ship
now, which will
be especially
important to
dealers, installers
and customers
in filling the
international
demand for
Avidyne's Vantage
ADS-B with diversity.
Avidyne meanwhile has partnered with Switzerland-based
Daedalean to develop what it calls " the first certified airborne
system capable of supporting neural network applications. "
The first certified product of the partnership is PilotEye, which
the company said are " vision-based AI technologies (that)
provide pilot advisory in normal GA operations for fixed-wing
and rotorcraft. " PilotEye's technologies can be combined
with other data sources and merged into one single intuitive
