The Genesys Control Panel is a Dzus-mount unit designed
to interface with the company's line of digital radios when
not installing the Genesys Avionics Suite. The GCP provides
users with a single controller for VHF comm, VHF nav, and
UHF comm frequencies. The radio itself also continues to
maintain third-party compatibility to other approved nav/comm
radio controllers. " The GCP was designed to offer customers
as many options as possible when installing our digital radios
as a retrofit solution, " Luster said.
The GCP will be available starting in the first quarter of
2023.
Genesys also announced it plans to obtain an STC for the
full-featured S-TEC 5000 digital autopilot aboard the Cessna
S550 (Citation II/Bravo) and S560 (Citation V/Ultra/Encore) in
the fourth quarter of 2022.

Gogo Business Aviation
Gogo Business Aviation, which also sponsored the
opening session at the 2022 AEA Convention, is a major
provider of broadband connectivity services for the business
aviation market. The company offers a customizable suite
of cabin systems for highly integrated connectivity, in-flight
entertainment and voice solutions. During his presentation,
David Salvador, Gogo's aftermarket channel vice president,
told attendees, " At Gogo, what we are seeing as well is the
ferocious appetite for data consumption with the applications
that the passengers are using, and we've seen nearly a 40%
increase in data consumption just in the last year.
" Productivity, efficiency and quality of life. Let's face it -
that's what is synonymous with operating business aircraft
and synonymous with what connectivity can do for us,
whether that be on the ground or in the air, and the way Gogo
has been doing that now is with the AVANCE platform we
introduced less than five
years ago.
" I am proud
to announce
today ... that the
Gogo AVANCE
platform and the
systems that you,
our partners, have
installed in less
than five years, this
weekend we crossed the millionth flight, " he told attendees,
adding that there have been " over 2,600 AVANCE units
installed " in that time. " The range of aircraft that it's been
installed in is anywhere from a Cirrus Vision Jet all the way up
to a Boeing 757. "
In closing, Salvador updated his company's progress on
deploying its planned 5G network. " I'm also here to announce
today at the show that we will have full 5G hardware STC and
PMA, we will have complete 5G network done and we will
launch 5G service " by mid-October 2022.

Jupiter Avionics
British Columbia-based Jupiter Avionics designs and
manufactures audio control equipment and accessories
for special-mission rotary- and fixed-wing aircraft. Jupiter
is Transport Canada-approved as a manufacturing and
maintenance organization, and also holds authority as a
design approval
organization.
A consistent
and prolific
presence
at the AEA
Convention,
Jupiter this
year unveiled
its Eclipse
Digital Audio
System, which allows
straightforward control of multiple audio signals by up to
seven users, with a choice of controller styles.
Major components of the Eclipse system are Jupiter's
JACS-001 remote-mounted audio control, the JDAC-002
digital audio control panel and the JCP-001 control panel.
The JACS-001 audio control is configured using Jupiter's
proprietary Windows-based software and supports either
high- or low-impedance headsets. The control panel also
allows 3D audio to be selected to augment prioritizing radio
traffic. Interfaces for loudspeakers, additional audio users,
recording devices, music inputs and messaging triggers are
included as standard.
The JDAC-002 digital audio control panel features color
touchscreen operation and conventional knobs. Its reduced
depth allows more installation options while the unit's
individual ICS calling, recording and playback capabilities,
