While global IT association ISACA has offered security resources
since 2002, it continued to be perceived primarily as a leader in the
audit and assurance world. Taking advantage of recent news events,
however, provided a unique chance for us to make significant progress in broadening that focus to include cybersecurity - something
we had tried to do for some time.
