When do I make my hotel
reservation?

Class Packages and Other Registration Fees

MAKE YOUR ROOM RESERVATION EARLY!! Room reservations
at ANG's special rate may be made
until the block has been filled or until the hotel's August 3, 2017 cutoff
date. Please note that any change
in your reservation may change
the rate and/or require payment of
cancellation fees. For reservations
guaranteed with a form of payment
at time of booking, rooms are held
until hotel check-out time the day
following scheduled arrival. Cancellations must be made at least three
days prior to arrival or a one-night
stay cancellation penalty is charged.

Each Registrant must pay the nonrefundable $125 Registration Fee to sign up for Seminar
classes and activities. All Registrants must be present at Seminar to be eligible to receive
the Participant's Package-which includes the Participant's Handbook, a Seminar pin, and
other Seminar goodies-upon check-in in Anaheim. In addition, Registrants have the right
to sign up for classes (see packages listed below), and banquets, as well as attend events
such as Expo! and the Auction. There are four Class Packages. You may not combine two
or more packages; you must choose only one.

What is the Facilities
Usage Fee?
A Facilities Usage Fee is a one-time
charge for a participant who is not
staying at the ANG Seminar hotel and who is taking two or more
days of classes. By using the ANG
block of rooms, you help to defray
the cost of the classroom, Exhibit,
Seminar Shop, banquet, and meeting room space that ANG needs
and that you are using when you
come to Seminar. Not using the
ANG block of rooms costs ANG.

How do I get to Seminar?
If you are traveling by air, you
can arrive at one of four airports.
The airports include John Wayne
Airport, Orange County (SNA),
Los Angeles International Airport
(LAX), Long Beach Airport (LGB),
and LA/Ontario International Airport (ONT). There is also train
access on Amtrak and Metrolink.
Taxi, shuttle, and limousine service
is available from the airports.
If you are traveling by car, valet
parking will be at prevailing rates
and self-parking will be provided
with a 25% discount.

What is the dress code for
Seminar?
Dress casually and comfortably, and
to ensure comfort, dress in layers. Remember, Seminar is fragrance-free.
The Welcome and Closing Banquets
are not formal, but most participants
wear "elegant casual," somewhere
between formal and casual.

Bronze Package
This package permits you to attend up to one (1) full day of classes. The $150 fee associated with this package covers the class costs, but not the kit fees. There are no banquet
tickets included in this package. You must purchase your banquet ticket(s) separately from
your Class Package. See the Registration Form on page 38, under Options, to pick the
banquet(s) of your choice.

Silver Package
This package permits you to attend one and a half (1-1/2) to three (3) days of classes.
The $380 fee associated with this package covers the class costs, but not the kit fees,
and one (1) banquet ticket to either the Welcome Banquet or the Closing Banquet. On
the Registration Form, page 38, you must select which banquet you plan to attend. You
may order a ticket for the other banquet or any additional tickets under Options on the
Registration Form.

Gold Package
This package permits you to attend three and a half (3-1/2) to five (5) days of classes.
The $610 fee associated with this package covers the class costs, but not the kit fees, and
one (1) Welcome Banquet ticket and one (1) Closing Banquet ticket. On the Registration
Form, page 38, you may order additional tickets under Options by entering the quantity
needed for each banquet.

Platinum Package
This package permits you to attend five and a half (5-1/2) to seven (7) days of classes.
The $840 fee associated with this package covers the class costs, but not the kit fees, and
one (1) Welcome Banquet and one (1) Closing Banquet ticket. On the Registration Form,
page 38, you may order additional banquet tickets under Options by entering the quantity
needed for each banquet.

Friend of ANG
Be stitched into ANG to enjoy the Seminar activities without taking any classes. Optional
events, such as the Welcome and Closing Banquets and Life Patrons Luncheon, should be
included on the Registration Form. The Registration Fee ($125) should be paid unless you
are only attending the Life Patrons Luncheon.

Teaching Excellence Class
Teaching Excellence is designed to encourage ANG members to pursue teaching needlework in its many manifestations and to provide training opportunities for those already
teaching. Adding this class will not increase the registration package you have chosen. Any
Registrant wishing to take the Teaching Excellence class must also be signed up to take at
least two (2) additional days of classes (Silver Package or higher).

Facilities Usage Fee
If you register for a Silver, Gold, or Platinum Package and elect not to stay at the Seminar
hotel, you must pay a one-time Facilities Usage Fee of $200. You must stay a minimum of
two nights at the Hyatt Regency Orange County to avoid the Facilities Usage Fee.
