ALLEN PRESS ANNOUNCES
NEW CEO AND VP OF SALES
Allen Press, a print and service provider
for trade and scholarly publications and
a member of Association Media & Publishing, has announced the appointment
of Randy Radosevich and Martine Padilla
to leadership positions. Radosevich was
named chief executive officer, effective
January 18, and Padilla will serve as vice
president of sales, beginning mid-February.
"Randy will help Allen Press continue to pursue our mission of serving and
supporting those societies and organizations that require print and publication
services," says Rand Allen, president of
Allen Press. "Randy is an experienced
leader and proven businessman whose
background encompasses extensive executive-level experience leading companies
and teams to realize their full potential."

Henry Wurst, Inc., where he managed

its Kansas City printing plant. Prior to
Henry Wurst, Radosevich was the executive vice president of TNG Central
Division, a leading publishing/periodical
distribution company in North America.
He also served for more than 10 years in
the United States Air Force.
Radosevich will succeed Dee Ann
Berry, who has been serving as the interim
CEO for Allen Press since January 1,

2016. Berry will remain at Allen Press
as chief operating officer.
Padilla has been appointed vice president of sales. She brings over 30 years
of print industry experience to the position, in which she will lead sales strategy
for printing, distribution, online content
hosting, and publishing management.
Most recently, Padilla served as retail
production manager with Sprint's marketing division and held prior positions as
print director at Callahan Creek, where
she led its Los Angeles graphics and print
purchasing team onsite at Toyota Motor
Sales, and as vice president at Mainline
Printing in Topeka, where she helped
build its holographic division. She also
served as executive director of the nonprofit Sustainable Green Printing Partnership.
Padilla was recognized by PIA MidAmerica as a candidate for Print Evangelist of the Year in 2015, an award to honor
individuals who share knowledge and
insights with the rest of the industry. n

AGENTS & BROKERS NAMES LAYCOX
ASSOCIATE MANAGING EDITOR
The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers has named Sandy Laycox associate managing editor of Leader's Edge, its award-winning magazine. Laycox says she was drawn
to the magazine for its ability to find creativity in a seemingly serious industry - the
yin/yang that has long defined her career.
A history and philosophy major at the University of North Carolina at Chapel
Hill, Laycox earned a master's in fine arts in creative nonfiction from the University
of New Orleans. After cutting her teeth as a jack-of-all-trades for a tiny independent
travel publisher, she amped up her serious side, editing best-practice case studies in
corporate performance for the Corporate Executive Board.
Missing the creative side of her work, she joined the History Factory, where she
dug into corporate histories and refined her research and storytelling skills. Laycox
eventually moved on to the association world, joining America's Essential Hospitals
(formerly, National Association of Public Hospitals and Health Systems) as a senior
writer and editor. There, she co-launched an award-winning digital magazine that
broke the mold of typical hospital association fodder. It was an in-depth look at the
raw, emotional side of hospitals with detailed stories and interactive pieces focused
mostly on patients and doctors.
Over the coming year, Laycox will lead a new push by Leader's Edge into the digital
side of publishing and will continue to seek those stories that bring readers the unexpected. n
