an improv exercise. Actually, there's
no reason it couldn't be both of those
things and a leadership training exercise to boot.

That's more or less the idea behind the
Executive Leadership Session - YGS
Presents Boundless: Improv to Innovate.
Through a series of exercises, YGS staff
such as Director, Marketing and Brand
Strategy Lish Ephraim will guide par-

ticipants through new ways to approach
challenges, foster ideas and solutions,
and produce change for their association.
Boundless usually is attended by highlevel managers and c-suite executives, but
is by its nature mutable to just about any
position or task. "There is research from
numerous top colleges showing major
benefits of improv in ideation and creative
problem solving," Kali Eskew, marketing manager for The YGS Group, says.
"But still, not everyone receives improv
training."
Wait a second - improv is like acting.
Acting can mean being alone in a spotlight in front of a crowd.
"To calm any fears, we're not looking to
cure stage fright," Eskew says. "We're not
looking for the next Broadway star. You
won't be the center of attention. There
is no spotlight. Yes, improv involves per-
