New Report Defines the Economic
and Financial Metrics that Enhance
Partnering and Revenue

For many years, ASAP and its community
of researchers and practitioners has produced
studies documenting the most effective practices in
managing successful alliances. Most recently, ASAP's 5th
State of the Alliances report and Vantage Partners' studies
demonstrated how alliance management practices drive
alliance success rates. But the elusive "Holy Grail" has
been to identify concrete, reliable economic and financial
metrics that can lead to improved revenue streams and
partnerships.
Now comes the new ASAP 6th State of Alliances research
report, "The Economics of Alliances, Social Capital, and
Alliance Performance," authored by Shawn Wilson, PhD,
DBA, vice president and general manager at Beaulieu
West Textiles. At the March 2016 ASAP Global Alliance
Summit, ASAP CEO Michael Leonetti, CSAP, offered
tantalizing glimpses of the study, now scheduled to be
published in September after the upcoming Sept. 7-9
ASAP BioPharma Conference.
"The study goes much further than simply defining financial gain with sound alliance management practices,"
remarked Leonetti about the impetus for the study. "For
