"This year's Summit in Ft. Lauderdale will be special
and exciting as we celebrate ASAP's 20th year. The
kind of content we're delivering is customized to what
ASAP audiences really react to well-a lot of the 'how'
as opposed to theory and stories," says Michael Leonetti, CSAP, CEO and president of ASAP. "We've gone
beyond the traditional tech and biopharma tracks by
adding more programming diversity and tracks. For
instance, one track  focuses on advanced education
with an emphasis on how to think strategically and
drive collaborative leadership throughout the organization," he adds.
Early arrivals can take advantage of intensive leadership-related pre-conference workshops scheduled for
Monday, March 26, on topics such as:
n

ASAP's newly launched in-house TE-AM
Training "Next Gen Alliance Management:
Mapping a TE-AM Road for Successful Alliances"

n

A follow up to the popular Alliance Management
101, "Alliance Management 201: The Value of
Alliance Management"

n

Exploring ways to "Overcome Obstacles &
Conflict-Utilizing High Impact Collaboration
Tools and Techniques to Accelerate
Alliance Success"

n

The ISO 44001 Collaborative Business Relationship Management Standard; "Building Corporate
Capability for Collaboration-Leveraging an
International Standard"

n

Insights into "Strategic Decision Making &
Negotiations: Learnings from Game Theory and
AM Practice"

The CA-AM Certification Exam Prep Workshop

The main events at the Summit launch Tuesday morning, March 27, with the keynote address "Today's New

Business Strategy Leads with Strategic Alliances" by
tech insider Tim Minahan, senior vice president of
business strategy and chief marketing officer at Citrix.
A leader in global marketing strategy and operations,
Minahan will provide insights on how to redefine the
strategic alliance model through best practices and
building deep, trusting partnerships.
A tech eclectic, Minahan has served in a broad range
of business leadership roles at leading enterprise software, cloud, and services firms. He is adept at
defining new markets and positioning companies to
own them. He previously spearheaded SAP's successful transition to the cloud as CMO of the company's
cloud and line-of-business unit. He joined SAP when
the company acquired Ariba, where he was Ariba's
global CMO and senior vice president of business
network strategy. He led the commercial strategy for
the Ariba Network, a global business network, and
oversaw the design and execution of go-to-market
programs and marketing initiatives to fuel Ariba's
growth as a leading cloud company.

The remainder of the day includes sessions geared toward two crucial leadership topics: preparing for the
fast-changing future of digital transformation and
driving collaborative leadership throughout the organization. Attendees also will have ample choices between
strong sessions focused on tech and biopharma, channels, vendors, and much more.
Take, for example, the biopharma panel moderated by
Andy Eibling, CSAP, "Driving Alliance Excellence Into
