This is a very rare version of Elise, K✡R model 109, with glass eyes.

Karin, at the age of two or three. The photo showing
the relief of Karin done by Lewin-Funcke in 1907 has
a strong resemblance to the model 101 doll, as well as
the photograph showing Karin herself as a young girl.
Lewin-Funcke had four children so he had plenty of
ready models for his doll sculpts but, if the conjectured
theory is accepted, Karin was his primary model. The
model 101 was also introduced in 1909, like the 100, and
is said to resemble a serene and thoughtful child. As you
can see from the examples here, the doll can come with
either painted or glass eyes, and in brown bisque as well
as Caucasian, in many various sizes from seven to twenty
inches. Any of the glass-eyed versions of the dolls in this
series are rarer and more costly today just as they were
more expensive when originally manufactured. However,
they lose some of the artistry and realism that is present
in the painted eye versions. The brown bisque "Marie"
with glass eyes is the rarest of all the 101 models and
almost never found. The doll can also come with a socket
head and flocked hair as a 101X as well as in celluloid.
A shoulder head variation exists but is not part of the
100 numbered series. Among the child molds the 101
is the most commonly found today, and therefore, the
most affordable. The prices of the 101 have come down
substantially in recent years so now is the time to add one
